BRIEF: The goal was to create a new website to help promote the Solar my School program to both schools and the wider community. It needed to attract new schools by sharing info and celebrating those already on board, while also acting as a hub for participating schools — with access to resources and real-time data on energy, greenhouse gas, and cost savings. Oh, and we had just 3 weeks to pull it all together.
SOLUTION: We started with a flexible WordPress theme and customised the design to complement the fresh branding provided. We built out sections to showcase participating schools, and added interactive maps to show the program’s growing reach. Later on, we enhanced it further with filters by council area and school type, making it even more useful as the program grew.
OUTCOME: A clean, easy-to-navigate site that’s simple for the client to manage themselves — and launched right on schedule, within the 3-week window.
